Write a blog post/Export and publish
Step 5 of 5
Export and publish
Copy, download, or export your finished article.
Your article is written and edited. Now you need to get it out of Thomas and into the world.

You have three options:
- Copy to clipboard — copies the full article with formatting intact. Paste it straight into WordPress, Ghost, Substack, or any editor that supports rich text.
- Download as Markdown — saves the article as a
.mdfile. Useful for static site generators or version-controlled content. - Export as HTML — downloads a clean HTML file you can use anywhere.
The copy-to-clipboard option preserves headings, bold text, links, and list formatting. It works best when pasting into a rich text editor rather than a plain text field.
After publishing
Once your article is published, you can:
- Find it any time in your Library under Articles
- Schedule it on your Calendar for future reference
- See how your credits were used in the Usage section
That's it — you've written and published a blog post with Thomas. The more you use it, the better Thomas gets at matching your voice and messaging.
Want to scale up? Try planning a month of content to generate multiple articles at once.
