Set up your messaging/Activate and deactivate
Step 3 of 3
Activate and deactivate
Control which pillars Thomas uses when writing your articles.
Every pillar has a simple on/off toggle. When a pillar is active, Thomas considers it when planning and writing articles. When it's inactive, Thomas ignores it completely.

This is useful when you want to shift your messaging focus without deleting anything. For example:
- Running a seasonal campaign? Activate the relevant pillar and deactivate others.
- Launching a new product line? Create a new pillar for it and keep your existing ones active.
- Testing a new message? Toggle it on for a month and see how it reads in your articles.
Thomas doesn't use every active pillar in every article. During planning, it selects the 1-2 pillars most relevant to the topic. So even with five active pillars, each article stays focused.
That's your messaging set up. When Thomas writes your next article, it will automatically weave your active pillars into the content where they fit naturally.
Next, you're ready to write your first blog post.
