Plan a month of content/Pick your topics

Step 2 of 4

Pick your topics

Choose which topic clusters to draw from and how many articles to create.

Next, you'll tell Thomas what to write about. The planner works with topic clusters — groups of related topics you've defined in your Library.

For each cluster, you can set how many articles Thomas should generate. For example:

  • "Parenting tips" — 3 articles
  • "Product guides" — 2 articles
  • "Behind the scenes" — 1 article

The total across all clusters is your article count for the month.

If you don't have topic clusters yet, you can create them right from the planner. Click the option to add a new cluster, give it a name and a few seed topics, and Thomas will generate article ideas from it.

You'll also choose the month and year for the plan, and optionally select a schedule — whether you want articles evenly spaced through the month or clustered around specific dates.
